Once plugged in, you can click on each drop-down menu and change the default location you save to by selecting the location. In order to change the default save locations in Windows 10, the devices you want to save to need to be plugged into the PC. By default, all of these will be set to your primary hard drive when you upgrade or install Windows 10. You’ll see your used and available storage for your hard drive and any removable media plugged into your PC. This will open the System settings in the Settings app and take you directly to Storage. Search via Cortana for “default save locations,” then click the settings to open it.
